Heidelberg, Germany is home to the jaw of the "Heidelberg Man", whose jawbone is the earliest evidence of human life in Europe

You can see said jawbone just down the street from the American Junior Year at Heidelberg University HQ in a local museum. It's a nice little museum that's much larger than it seems, but unfortunately forbids photography.
